Adelee Dixon, DC
Dr. Adelee is a farm kid from Heron Lake, MN. Her first experience with chiropractic was when she was just an infant with colic. Her dad did not understand the role of chiropractic care in helping children, until it helped her. This was the beginning of a lifelong love all that chiropractic care can do for a family.
During her high school athletic career, Dixon Family Chiropractic was recommended to her because of its reputation for helping athletes. After high school, she enrolled in the University of Minnesota and then Northwestern College of Chiropractic, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic in November, 2000.
In Chiropractic college, she married Wade Dixon and had her first child, further igniting a passion for helping pregnant mothers and infants/ children thru chiropractic care. Dr. Adelee is also an ACE certified personal trainer and avid exerciser. She is skilled in teaching stretches and exercises to help athletes and patients and is available for personal training in addition to providing chiropractic care. Dr. Adelee has a nutrition certification and loves to help men and women naturally balance their hormones, heal gut issues, and more thru food allergy and hormone testing. She helps teach others about health and nutrition and how to naturally heal themselves thru the 7 Systems Plan.

Larry Dixon, DC
Dr. Larry has been nicknamed “The Godfather of Chiropractic” by one of his peers. He just celebrated 50 years as a chiropractor and has no plans to retire!
He was born in Hudson, SD and graduated from Hawarden High School. He enrolled in Morningside College in Sioux City. There he was a drummer with The Seven Sons. Although he enjoyed this, he decided his future was elsewhere. He enrolled in Palmer Chiropractic College and graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Dr. Larry first practiced in Hawarden and Sioux Center, IA. In 1977, he and his wife, Clar, and two sons, Myles (a chiropractor in Brandon, SD) and Wade moved to Spirit Lake. He built his first office, Chiropractic Associates, later to become Dixon Family Chiropractic, out on Hwy 71.
Clar helped in the business until she died in 2001. He sold the practice, when they moved to 18th Street, in 2012, to Dr. Wade and Dr. Adelee.
In 2002, Dr. Larry married his current wife, Jody. Together they have a combined seven children, and 13 grandchildren. He is active with the Okoboji Corvette Club and reunions with The Seven Sons.
Dr. Larry definitely still rocks!
